A negative imprint of the historical record is created through the process of decollage of found clippings of the California NAACP related to the civil rights struggle and race in California during the 1950s-1960s. The residue of what remains and what is erased becomes a testimonial to the loss of our collective memory, alluding to past events, some pivotal, some forgotten.
